Albums and EPs

Master your whole album in one go.

Drop every song of your album or EP into the Studio. They master in track order, all to the same loudness, and each gets three versions to choose from. Download the finished record as one ZIP.

How album mastering works

  1. Drop all your songs into the Studio at once: WAV, MP3, FLAC or AIFF. Number them (01, 02 …) and they keep your track order.
  2. They master one after another, three at a time on paid plans. The list shows each song’s progress, and you can listen to finished songs while the rest work.
  3. Pick a version per song. Gentle, Balanced and Bold play at the same loudness, so you choose by sound. The engine marks the one that fits each song.
  4. Download all: one ZIP with a 24-bit WAV of every song, numbered in track order, ready for your distributor.

One sound for the whole record

The hardest part of mastering an album yourself is consistency: one song comes out brighter, the next one louder. Here every song is measured against the same balance of commercially released masters and set to the same loudness, either Loud (about −8.5 LUFS in the loud parts) or Streaming (about −11 LUFS). The engine corrects only what stands out in each song, so a quiet ballad keeps its space and the single keeps its edge.

Before you download, compare every master with your original at the same loudness, and listen on a simulated phone, car or club system to check that the low end translates.

What you get for every song

  • A 24-bit WAV at the song’s sample rate, for DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby and the other distributors
  • A 320 kbps MP3 for sharing and promo
  • A 30-second clip of the song’s highlight with soft fades, for Reels, TikTok and Stories
  • A release check: loudness, true peaks, mono compatibility and silence at the start and end

Price

One master per song, and all three versions are included. A ten-song album costs $19.99 with the 10-song pack, or $9.99 with a month of Pro, which includes 30 masters. A mastering engineer typically charges $50 to $150 per song. See all prices.

Questions

Will the songs of my album sound like they belong together?

Every song is mastered against the same tonal balance and to the same loudness target, so the record sits together. Each song still gets only the corrections it needs: a dark ballad isn't forced to sound like the single.

How long does an album take?

A few minutes per song. On paid plans three songs master at the same time, so a ten-song album is usually ready in well under half an hour. You can leave the page once every song has uploaded.

What does an album cost?

One master per song. Ten songs cost $19.99 once, or a month of Pro ($9.99) covers up to 30 songs. Your first three songs are free.

What files do I get?

A 24-bit WAV at your song's sample rate for distributors like DistroKid, TuneCore or CD Baby, a 320 kbps MP3 for sharing, and a 30-second clip of your song's highlight with soft fades for Reels, TikTok and Stories.

How loud will my song be? What is Streaming loudness?

Loud masters reach about −8.5 LUFS in the loud parts with peaks at −0.3 dBTP: as loud as current releases. After any purchase you can choose Streaming instead: about −11 LUFS with peaks at −1 dBTP, which keeps more punch, since Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube turn loud songs down to around −14 LUFS anyway. Every master shows which loudness it was made at.
